And the winner is……..

The results of my little runner been experiment are in and it was a resounding win for the indoor germination. The seeds that were potted up and placed in a propagator on the window cill in doors were up to 3 time the size of the sames ones germinated outdoors in a propagator and the ones that I sowed directly into the soil haven’t even started to show and may not do at all. From the 16 I planted at home I had enough to plant out 1 for each of my cane supports – 12 in total leaving me 2 spares and 2 that didn’t germinated at all. These have now been planted out and in the next few days as the grow a bit taller I will pop back down and tie them in to the cane supports.
